Tax software programs can be very useful for certain individuals. But keep in mind, it is a software program. After installing, registering, downloading updates and patches, the real work begins. Anyone who has used tax software before knows that it is not good for “special” situations – and who doesn’t have those? Often times, it takes the human eye of a trained tax professional to figure out the best way to handle your individual tax situation.
